Possum Cabin is one of our traditional cedar cabins — built in red cedar timber with high pitched ceilings that give it a warmth and character you feel the moment you walk in. Like its neighbours, it's north-facing, with palm trees and Australian gum trees surrounding the cabin, with mountain views in the distance — on the area's typically clear, sunny days, the view stretches for miles.

Possum shares the same generous full kitchen as its twin Ulysses Cabin — a full oven, four-burner cooktop, full-size fridge and extra bench space, ideal for those who love to cook during their stay. What sets Possum apart is space: a larger private garden area and your own private gazebo, a covered outdoor lounge tucked into the bush where you can relax any time of day, rain or shine.

At night, your private fire pit — set within a circle of natural rock — is the perfect place to relax under the stars. Inside, the cabin is named after the brushtail possums that visit the property after dark, and the custom artwork throughout reflects these curious, regular guests. A leather lounge, smart TV with Netflix and thoughtful furnishings make this a genuinely private and peaceful retreat.
