Curlew is our newest cabin — a modern, dark corrugated iron build set in the most private position on the property, furthest from the other cabins and tucked away near the end of the road. The open, sunnier outlook here has let us plant a small grove of young fruit trees in front of the cabin — they're not yet bearing fruit, but it's a lovely thing to watch grow during your stay. Beyond them, the bushland opens up to reveal mountain views in the distance, best enjoyed from your private deck and fire pit.

Inside, Curlew is dressed in fresh tropical-leaf linen and a soft eucalyptus mural, with a striking portrait of a bush stone-curlew — the cabin's namesake — watching over the room. A cushion-top king bed (the only king on the property) is paired with a comfortable double leather reclining lounge, perfect for settling in after a day of exploring. A round dining table for two adds a lovely spot for breakfast or an evening drink.

The kitchen here is more compact than our other modern cabins, with a granite benchtop, full-size fridge and microwave for the essentials. A portable two-plate induction cooktop, along with an induction frypan and saucepan, are tucked away in the cupboard whenever you need to cook a meal. As with all our cabins, you'll also find a kettle and toaster ready to go. The same custom raw-edge timber pieces, hand-finished stone vessel sink and private fire pit complete the picture — everything you need for a relaxed, secluded stay.
