Cockatoo Cabin is one of our newer builds — completed within the last few years, with a dark corrugated iron exterior designed to sit quietly within the surrounding bush. Large forward-facing windows look out over beautiful Australian bushland that gradually slopes down towards a seasonal creek. Walk to the edge of the property and you'll find the creek bed itself — often dry, sometimes flowing, always a peaceful spot to explore.

Inside, Cockatoo has been thoughtfully fitted out with a granite benchtop kitchen that extends into a breakfast bar with stools — perfect for casual meals or your morning coffee. A four-burner cooktop, full-size fridge and microwave mean you're well equipped for self-catering. Custom raw-edge timber pieces — a bedside table and vanity top — bring a natural, handcrafted touch throughout, alongside a tree-trunk entry table that welcomes you as you step inside.

The cushion-top queen bed is made up with two firm and two soft pillows, so you can choose your perfect night's sleep. Cockatoo-themed artwork and linen throughout — including a striking black cockatoo print - reflects the cabin's namesake. Outside, your private deck includes a fan for warm evenings, and a private fire pit completes the picture for relaxed nights under the stars.
